Josh Bergeron (b. 1978, Seoul, South Korea) is an American photographer whose work explores the relationship between people and the environments they inhabit. Working primarily in color, he works in public space, examining the subtle physical, social, and cultural structures that shape movement, labor, gathering, and everyday life. Through long-term projects and sustained observation, his photographs investigate how environments quietly influence human behavior, revealing the ways people occupy, adapt to, and experience place.

Bergeron’s work has been exhibited internationally at institutions and festivals including the Griffin Museum of Photography, Photometria International Photography Festival (Greece), Colorado Photographic Arts Center, Los Angeles Center of Photography, HistoryMiami Museum, Berlin Photo Biennale, Kolga Tbilisi Photo Festival, Addis Foto Fest, and Museo de las Americas. His photographs are held in the permanent collections of Miami University, Indiana University, University of California, Berkeley, the University of Denver, and the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. His work has appeared in The Huffington Post, Reader’s Digest, Fraction Magazine, F-Stop Magazine, and Street Sweeper Magazine.
